Public Buildings and Hotel Room Health Concerns
Bring a disinfectant next time you check into a hotel room. The University of Virginia checked and studied the checked out guest rooms of hotels and found the rhinovirus on 35% of items the previous guest touched. That’s right, you have a 35% chance of catching germs from the previous guest. On pens, door handles, towel racks and light switches these viruses can survive for days.
Prevention is better than cure.
